Madonna in the "rock and roll" hall of fame
Regarding Madonna's induction into the "Rock and Roll" "Hall of Fame" (I put scare quotes around "Rock and Roll" because she is not a rock artist, and I put scare quotes around "Hall of Fame" because a Hall of Fame ought to be in the business of recognizing artistic merit rather than pandering to commercial pablum that happens to sell a lot), I think this quote sums it up nicely:

What irks me is here you have classic groundbreaking bands like Jeff Lynne and ELO not in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and now Madonna is in it? *shakes head*
